The ASA is launching Picture Book Matchmaker, a new Virtual Literary Speed Dating event for picture book creators, developed in consultation with Australian publishing professionals. Picture Book Matchmaker gives picture book authors, author-illustrators, and illustrators a unique six-minute opportunity to pitch their work to Australian publishers and agents, and forge connections for potential ongoing collaboration.
But why has the Literary Speed Dating format been changed for picture book creators, and what can you expect from the new process? Join us for this free information session – hosted by the ASA’s Professional Development and Events Manager, Kate Adams, and Operations Officer, Alison Williams – to find out.
