ASA member giveaway 2026

We’re running a giveaway for new and renewing members of the ASA!

Ensure your membership is set to renew, or join the ASA before 1 July 2026, for a chance to win one of nine literary prize packs.

How to enter the giveaway

By ensuring your membership is set to renew or joining the ASA before 1 July 2026  you will be eligible to enter our renewal giveaway.

To enter, email [email protected] with the subject line ‘2026 Membership Renewal Giveaway’, and nominate the prizes you’d like to win! You must include your membership number in the email for your entry to be valid. Giveaway winners will be notified via email after 7 July 2026. Please note that your nominated prize is not guaranteed.

BookPeople digital gift cards are accepted at hundreds of local and independent bookshops across Australia as well as online.

Please note that the one free booking for ASA professional development events are for individual bookings only and must be used before 7 July 2027. Virtual Literary Speed Dating events and Pitch Perfect courses are not included in the offer.

How to enable renewal

To ensure your membership will renew, make sure you’re logged in to our website and visit your Member Dashboard. Click the ‘Edit your Membership Details’ button directly located below your name. Here you can turn on/off membership renewal, as well as update any of your contact information.

You must have a payment method on file for your renewal payment to be processed. Update or add your preferred payment method by ensuring you’re logged in to our website and visiting your Member Dashboard. Select the ‘Open Stripe’ button located below your name, which will take you to the ASA payment portal, Stripe. There you can add or update your payment method, set your preferred method as the default, and view and download your past invoices. 

ASA membership is tax-deductible against writing income.
