The ASA offers all members a free listing in our Find a Creator directory. This public directory enables you to advertise your services, including ghostwriting, workshops and courses, public appearances, copywriting, literary award judging, and more.

The Find a Creator directory complements the ASA Style File, which is our by-application-only portfolio site for illustrators to showcase their work to publishers, advertising creatives, journalists, editors, writers, agents, and anyone else in the industry searching for the very best Australian illustrators.

You can add, update, or remove your Find a Creator listing, by logging in to the ASA website and visiting your Member Dashboard and then clicking Update your Find a Creator directory listing. 

You can update your profile to include your photo, your publishing history, your work experience, genres you work in, your bio, and details of the services you are able to provide. Completing your listing is an easy way for you to advertise yourself to potential employers and book industry professionals.

If you have a listing active and wish to remove it from the directory, simply edit your Find a Creator listing and select ‘No’ as the answer to the question ‘Would you like your Find a Creator listing to be visible?’.

Please note that if you have selected ‘Yes’ to allow your listing to be visible and searchable, but have not populated your creator listing with any details, then your listing will be automatically removed from the directory on 31 July 2025.
