Pricing for an assessment of a manuscript over 110,000 can be negotiated – contact us at [email protected] for a custom quote before you book.
Before you book, we recommend you read through our Manuscript Assessment service FAQs to make sure this is the right service for you at this stage of your manuscript development.
Please use the booking button below to submit a manuscript assessment request. You will be required to provide a synopsis (up to 300 words) and a copy of your manuscript as a Word document. You also have the option to provide a brief explanation of what you’d like the assessor to focus on.
Please note, all booking requests require payment of a $100 deposit. This deposit is refundable in the case a booking does not proceed.
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your booking request, and ASA staff will be in contact within 2-3 business days to confirm the availability of your preferred assessor(s) and the estimated delivery date of the assessment report. When your booking is confirmed, you will be issued an invoice for the assessment fee less the deposit.
Our register of manuscript assessors includes authors and editors with professional experience in fiction and non-fiction genres, as well as in young adult and children’s literature.
