Make the most of your ASA membership

A free information session

Do you want to know exactly what the ASA can offer you and how you can make the most of a membership? From advice to advocacy and development to distribution, the ASA caters to authors and illustrators at every stage of their career. As 2026 gets underway, with many opportunities ahead, the ASA is ready to show you everything our membership encompasses, and how you can access what you need when you need it.

Join the ASA’s Membership Officer, Saranya Agar, Operations Officer, Alison Williams, and Professional Development and Events Manager, Kate Adams, to learn all about the ASA’s membership benefits, services, developmental opportunities, and events, and how we can support you, your work, and your career.

This free, one-hour information session will provide guidance on how you can:

Whether you’re a prospective or newly-joined member ready to advance your career, or a long-term or lapsed member who wants to find out how to take advantage of the ASA’s membership benefits, this session will help you learn how to get the most value out of ASA membership in 2026 and beyond.

There will be time for questions.

Who is this for?

About the ASA

The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) is the professional association, community, and voice of Australia’s writers and illustrators. Since 1963, we’ve been the peak national body representing the interests of Australia’s writers and illustrators. We provide advocacy, support, and advice for authors in matters relating to their professional practice.
